I personally am not a big fan of the term "chemo wigs" as it sounds like a range of wigs only suitable for clients undergoing chemotherapy. The reality is that human hair and synthetic wigs that we sell at the Hair Club are suitable for all. In general customers that have been recently diagnosed with cancer just require a wig to carry them through until their treatment is over and their hair grows back. In most cases this means a natural looking synthetic wig is more that adequate. Prices range from €150 – €495.
If you have a medical card you may be entitled to a wig allowance if your doctor certifies you have hair loss due to a medical condition. You will need to call your local HSE branch for more information.
The Hair Club operates a Non-Refund or Exchange Policy to customers that purchase wigs in our Dublin and Cork stores. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have. We do not offer any exchanges due to hygiene reasons.
